About Me

Currently at Indiana University Bloomington studying Human Computer Interaction, set to graduate in May 2024.

Ever since I was a kid, I loved to tinker. My first electric shock convinced me that I wanted to be an engineer. Soon enough, I became fascinated with building drones and cool robots. I was always a problem solver, but my skills didn't always translate to a better user experience. To me, a solution-first approach was the wrong way.

As an engineer, I found myself becoming easily bored with the predictability and lack of diversity in the typical skillset required for the field. The versatility of the world of UX and HCI coupled with my interest in creating more impactful solutions, is what made me choose to be a designer.

Having engineering and design experience, I cherish the role of being a design advocate, bridging the gap between development, product, and ultimately business teams and leadership.

And, as someone who thrives on interacting with people, asking questions, and simply chatting, I find that UX and HCI provide the perfect outlet for my natural inclinations. It's like the theory of intuition vs deliberation in psychology - sometimes we don't have all the knowledge, but our intuition tells us that it's the right fit. And for me, that's exactly what design is.
